More of a thing that I have noticed. It really sucks that there is such a short time frame on the ball. I have been at work all day and just got the chance to pop into Hogsmeade. I went searching for the ball first because it is always a short time frame. I missed it again.

One thing to think about future maybe...giving a bit longer on it. I realize it is a ball and there is a time limit. I left the house at noon. Got home after 9 and have to take care of the kids. The entire posting time was in those hours. I'm not saying that this makes or breaks Hogsmeade for me, but when you are honestly trying for a superawesome award, this really brings it down.

Sorry - not really complaining. Whining, maybe. I know the balls have always been the same time frame. I just haven't always worked when they are going on. Or I do it all in thirty minutes, rushing.

Honestly, the balls are long enough - currently they're five hours each and if they get any longer, people will lose interest and participation will drop even more. You only have to do one of them for Superawesome (which it says explicitly in the post - both balls combined count as one activity, and it doesn't matter if you mix and match the threads of both or just max out one of them), and together they're ten hours long; eleven even with the hour break in between, so that should be way enough. Also, the threads are designed in a way that it's absolutely no problem to do them within a short time-frame, so even if you get home half an hour before the ball closes, you still have enough time.

I know for hosting an activity that that can go towards our total participation count but does that still apply for Superawesome banners or will I need to do my own activity for that? :)
