So what is this about Flourish at Hogsmeade?

During Hogsmeade, shop owners at Flourish as well as non shop owners can both open up shop fronts, which offer gift and personal tags.

Shops offer gift tags, some of which are Hogsmeade themed (following the theme set by the mayors) or Hogsmeade-centric (focusing on something at the real Hogsmeade, like Honeydukes or Zonko's) or are just random. They can also offer regular tags which must be either Hogsmeade themed or Hogsmeade-centric. There is an order limit of 10 tags per shop, which can be split however you choose between gift tags and regular tags, so make sure you don't order too many! If you would like to order more than ten, you are free to ask the shop owner if they are willing to make more for you, but they do not have to, as only the first ten count for points.

Who can sign up to run a shop? Is there a limit on how many?

Anyone may sign up to run a shop during Hogsmeade, but non Flourish shop owners have 24 hour priority to sign up before they are opened to shop owners as well. There is a limit of 10 shops per house per Hogsmeade.

If there are no more open spots when you go to sign up, you are free to sign up anyway. Sometimes shop runners need to back out before the weekend, in which case the Flourish mods will pull someone else in to run one.

What about points?

Each tag is worth 4 points, no matter if it is a gift tag or a regular tag.

Is there a deadline for ordering? Delivering?

Catalogs for Flourish at Hogsmeade will be posted starting 24 hours before the start of Hogsmeade weekend, when you can start ordering. The deadline to order tags is the end of Hogsmeade. Shopkeepers must deliver by the last Sunday of the month. Failure to deliver tags by the last Sunday of the month results in a forfeiture of all points.

Does Flourish at Hogsmeade count for the participation bonus/banners?

Running a shop and delivering by the noted deadline counts for the participation bonus, as well as the regular participation banner. It does not count for the superawesome participation banner.
